Coaching Course
At Souths Juniors, Wednesday 24th March, 5.30pm-8pm
Coaching Kids Rugby - Seminar for coaches involved in Walla rugby U6-U7, Mini U8-U9, Midi U10-U11. SmartRugby is included in this course. (no need to register or do a test online if you’re just doing ‘Coaching Kids Rugby’ component)
Level 1 Coach U12 & up - Complete the registration form, the online Laws & Safety exam: http://www.qru.com.au/rugby_education/coaching/level_1_coach,70557.html then you can complete the assessment, which will be conducted on this night.

Parents & visitors are to remain off the field. You are more than welcome to help out at training but you MUST register with the club and have or be applying for a current Working with Children Blue Card.

AGE ELIGEBILITY
We’ve had a few questions & some confusion surrounding age eligebilty & what age group your child can play in, hopefully this will make it a bit clearer...
Brisbane Junior Rugby Union runs age eligebilty on the calendar year (1st January to 31st December). So for example: if your child has turned or is turning 10 this calendar year, they will play in ‘Under 10s’. Playing in a younger age group is not permitted under any circumstances and no dispensations will be granted.
Rubbish left behind!
Please place all rubbish in one of the many bins provided (even if its not yours) & encourage your children to do the same, before you leave the grounds. This will demonstrate to our children how we show pride in ourselves & the club.
It will also make it easier on our already stretched unpaid volunteers who have lives & families as well.
